Meet Alfredo Gomez

Dark Edges.
A Brighter Current.

I make work that holds both sides of the story—the shadows that shape us and the bright spots that keep pulling us forward.

I’m Alfredo Gomez, the artist behind Alfredo.Paints. I work across digital and pencil illustration, mixed media, and acrylic, creating pieces that are bold, vibrant, and willing to carry a little darkness.

Much of the work begins where memory and possibility meet: past experiences I’m still carrying and future moments I hope to reach. I want both in the frame—tension and hope, weight and energy, something you can see and something you can feel.

Not every piece begins with a heavy story. Sometimes an idea is simply too fun to leave alone. A color keeps pulling at me. A character needs to exist. That freedom keeps the work personal without making it predictable.

I offer prints and original artwork for people who feel that same pull—something vivid, imaginative, and full of enough personality to shift the energy of a room.

On the Work

Color as
Conviction

Color does more than separate one form from another. It creates the temperature of the image—loud, quiet, strange, reverent, or somewhere between those states.

Character gives that atmosphere a point of view. Even when a subject begins with something recognizable, Alfredo’s treatment shifts its expression, context, or scale until it belongs to the archive.

Faith-shaped pieces sit inside this same system. They are part of the practice without flattening every work into the same message.

01
The weird ones deserve a room
Strange Company exists because character-driven, expressive work doesn't always fit anywhere. Now it has its own space.
02
Color is not decoration
Color sets the emotional temperature of the work and helps each subject occupy its own world.
03
Faith shows up in the work, not just around it
Faith appears as source, subject, and recurring visual language without needing to explain every image.
